ISA World Congress of Sociology “Facing an Unequal World: Challenges for
Global Sociology”
La Asociación
Internacional de Sociología (ISA por sus siglas en inglés), celebrará
del 13 al 19 de Julio de 2014,
el XVIII ISA World
Congress of Sociology (XVIII
Congreso Mundial de Sociología), bajo el tema "Frente a un Mundo Desigual:
Retos para una Sociología Global", en la ciudad de Yokohama,
Japón.
An incredibly sensitive community of academics and
professionals such as the International Sociological Association, aware of the
social transformations taking place in the world, cannot and should not be
absent from a debate on inequality.
The great tradition of multi, inter and
transdisciplinary works in which the most complex problems of the present day
world are addressed; its unique condition of being academically,
scientifically, regionally, institutionally and organically plural make it ideally
qualified to face the challenge of contributing to this international exchange,
from which an intellectual and moral force can emerge in order to achieve
drastic changes in the manners, forms of reasoning and scopes of the decisions
to be taken in the world to ensure the preservation of human life and
societies.
ISA tiene una gran variedad
de Comités
de Investigación, que abarcan diversas
temáticas de investigación (resolución de confictos, economía, desarrollo,
familia, pobreza, trabajo, lenguaje, movimientos sociales, etc.). Entre
ellos, el Comité de Sociología del Derechopropone
temas a investigar como: profesiones legales, género, las cortes, migración,
prisiones, prostitución, sistemas legales, el rol del derecho en los desastres
naturales, entre otros.
La fecha
límite para la
presentación de Abstracts es el 30
de septiembre de 2013.
